Don't forget about D&D Encounters every wednesday. This is a good chance to play with new people and to learn some 4th Edition if you haven't had a chance.
Also, Saturday August 21st is D&D Games Day. This is a free event day. We'll start rolling about 12:00pm (noon). We'll likely be running a couple groups at a time. It's a first come, first serve deal, so get here as soon as you can. Usually, we run 3-5 groups throughout the day and each one takes about 2-3 hours.
We also got a couple new Reaper Ranger and Fighter models.

Lots of RPG stuff came in this week. From Gale Force Nine we got some cool D&D 4E token sets for the Wizard and Ranger. These little packs come with all the markers you need for every mark, condition, and special ability.
We also got several different dice towers in. These are quite cool for rolling your dice and not having to chase them down across the table.
Knights of the Dinner Table #165 and Kobold Quarterly #14 both came in today!
The Pathfinder Advance players guide is here. This is a book several pathfinder players have been waiting on. It even has some cool new character classes.
In other D&D news we got in the Psionic Power book, the Dark Sun Campaign Guide, the Dark Sun Creature Catalog, and a 2nd leveladventure titeles Marauders of the Dune Sea.
This was a big week for RPG stuff :)

We got a new flip mat pack in that's Pirate Island themed. This is definitely one of the mor einteresting maps that they've printed.
D&D fans should be aware that the Dark Sun Campaign materials should start arriving in store in about 10-12 days. If you're interested and want one, I'd make sure to get a preorder in or you may end up waiting an additional two weeks to get it.
We also got in the Mage Chronicler's Handbook from White Wolf Publishing.

We restocked several of the D&D 4E books and gave our RPG section a significant makeover. We also restocked the Dungeon Master's token set.
There were some new Reaper minis that came in. The grouping had a couple of melee classes and several arcane class minis.
And because he had a serious run on them recently, we restocked our dice bags :)
The Dragon Age game master's kit is on the shelves now.

There's a new set of D&D Dungeon Tiles called Desert of Athas that just came in this week.
Also in the real of D&D stuff, we got in the Tiefling race book for 4th edition.
And if you're interested in picking up 3rd Edition stuff, we just has a small windfall of 3E materials this week. We'd recommend you come in ASAP if you want your pick up the good as most of this line got restocked but is likely to move fast.

Also, our D&D Encounters event went great this week. We had three full groups going. This will be every Wednesday at 5:30pm. Show up when you get off of work and get your game on. If you show up late, just grab a character and hop into a running adventure!

Man oh man. Dungeons & Dragons players are going to get overloaded this week. We have a TON of stuff coming up.
Wednesdays will now be D&D Encounters night. We will have games running throughout the night that will have rewards that carry over from week to week. Most people won't get here until 6:00pm to start playing. However, we would like to get a group going about 4:00 or 4:30pm. This would take care of the students and other than have late night schedules. If you're interested in running and/or playing in an early encounters on Wednesdays, let us know by posting on the proper thread in the message forum.
Also, on Saturday we are hosting a D&D Game Day. It's become a tradition of good times. These have pregenerated characters with some fun mini adventures. Both events are good for drawing players together. And if you're looking for find a new group or new players, this is the best way to do so.
Believe it or not, we already sold out of Player's Handbook 3. People seem to be really jazzed up about the Psionics and the Monks. Don't worry though, we've got a whole other wave of books arriving on Tuesday (3/15/10). so, we'll be able to feed your need! We also got in Harrowing Hall Dungeon Tiles along with the Hammerfast adventure supplement.
We have a solid restock of the Koplow dice line along with several new dice from the Chessex line that we haven't had previously.
The Game Closet also got a restock on the Pathfinder core books.

There is a ton of D&D stuff arriving on Monday (11/16/09). This stuff includes Draonomicon 2, Arcane Power cards, the latest D&D Miniatures set and a couple of other WotC items.
We also got a restock on Monster Manual 2 and the D&D Hero miniatures.
We're also running Forgotten Realms 4th Edition campaigns in the store this weekend. Show up Saturday at 12:00pm (noon) to so some character building and have some fun! This is a good way to meet other players and get your game on!
We got the new Shadowrun book, Seattle 2072 today.
Today we also got a LARGE restock of Reaper miniatures. And by large, we mean over 50 models!

We restocked several D&D items. This was a badly needed restock as we were out of Character Sheets and DM screens.
We're also loaded up on large and small vinyl battlemats as well.
And the popularity of the Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader series doesn't look to be slowing down. We had to get another restock of the Rogue Trader books in this week.

Today we got the Pathfinder RPG Bestiary book in. This thing is another thick book. It's super high quality and this is definitely going to be a highly purchased book.

This is the biggest news of the week: ROGUE TRADER is here! Yes, you read that right. The long awaited book from Fantasy Flight Games is on our shelves for sale. We're moving these pretty fast and even have a small restock on the way. Come in and get them before they're gone.
We spent this past week doing a bunch of restocks. We've restocked a lot of the D&D books and miniatures.
We restocked nearly the full line of Shadowrun books too.
There were also six new reaper figures that showed up.
And over the past two weeks, we've had a LARGE dice restock. We got more of all the varieties of dice in the cubes as well as dice tubes and bags.

Don't forget about our Dungeons & Dragons game day this Saturday (September 19th). It's absolutely free to play. We'll be taking signups and starting events at 12:00pm (noon). We'll be running events throughout the day with the last one kicking off around 4:00pm most likely.
We've also gottne our copies of Dungeon MAster's Guide 2 in. This has been selling a little faster than expected, so if you miss a chance to scoop your copy this week, have no fear. We'll have more next week. But, we've still got a few on the shelf right now for you.
There were two other Wizards of the Coast releases: Revenge of the Giants Adventure (hardcover, high level adventure) and Satar Wars Galaxy at War.
Level Up magazine's second issue is in. This is a great quarterly magazine. I recommend that everyone playing 4th Edition D&D pick this book up. It's only $1.99 and it has a ton of useful info. This is the equivalent of what Dungeon Magazine and Dragon Magazine used to be.

This week, we got in the Shadowrun 20th Anniverssary Hardcover in alongside Dawn of the Artifacts: Dusk. We've had players eagerly awaiting both of these items.
Paizo's Pathfinder Core Book is FINALLY here. This is obviously the big RPG release of the week. It's already sold out nationwide. Fortunately, we've still got a few copies left if you need to get your hands on one.
There were new Reaper miniatures this week.
We also got in a small restock of dice.
We reloaded the D&D 4th Edition character folios. Speaking of D&D, we also had HUGE success with our 4E D&D Game Night this past Tuesday. Things went so well that we need another Dungeon Master. If you are someone you know is interested in helping us out with running games, get them in touch with us as soon as possible!

Players seem lost when looking for game masters and/or players. We have the message boards to try and help solve that problem.
However, we're thinking about taking it a step further and making Tuesdays RPG nights at The Game Closet. We'll even going to try and get each game to have 2-3 rotating GMs to keep things from getting stale. But this should be a good jumping on point for players as well and make it easier for everyone to find someone to play with.

Not a lot of new stuff on the RPG front. We're still mildly recovering from Free RPG Day. For those of you that missed it, we had a whole counter full of freebies to be handed out free of charge. All of the materials were new and exclusive as well.
The 4th Edition Eberron Player's Guide is out. Some people seem to have missed the announcement, but they are most definitely available for sale now. There was also a new set of D&D Dungeon Tiles.
We also got more Paizo double sided maps and adventure tiles. These are amazing products for the $12 cost. This line of products has been a steady seller for a good while now.

Today is D&D Games Day. We'll be running premade adventures with pregenerated characters almost all day. Expect the last adventure to get rolling around 5-6pm. We should have a new group starting up every couple of hours starting at noon. Expect 3-4 groups to be running at a time. We've got a sign-up sheet on the board as well if you want to reserve space.
Dangerous Delves Boosters for D&D are in as well. These are the monster minis packs. They are a nice addition to any D&D campaign and a great DM tool.
Monster Manual 2 is on sale now. And, as if we didn't have enough D&D stuff for you this week, we've also got Martial Power cards in!
Star Wars Jedi Academy for the RPG is in as well.

We got in a run of cool GM tools called Combat Pads from Paizo. We've already sold through the run, but we'll have more in on Tuesday. Also, from Paizo we got new packs of flip mats and map tile sets.
White Wolf had two new releases this week: Ancient Bloodlines (Vampire) and Immortals (WoD).
The latest Dark Heresy book is in: Tattered Fates (PArt 1 of the Haarlock's Legacy Trilogy).
We got more copies of Level Up in. This is a cool magazine for 4th Edition D&D that is cheap. It's only $1.99. The price alone has made this a popular magazine. It has the feel of the old Dragon and Dungeon magazines. It has scenarios, new items, new prestige classes. Cool stuff. It's worth the purchase if you get one before they're gone.

There was a small restock on the Map Packs and Flip Mats from Paizo. If you don't use these, you should really give them the once over. They are an extremely handy tool for and Game Master.
We got a couple of new reaper minis.
We've got a sample of the new D&D monster minis packs. Just ask for it when you come in, if you want to take a look at them.
And, we've got a sign-up sheet for those of you that are interested in getting a copy of the 4E Eberron Campaign Setting when it arrives. It should be out in mid-late June.
We've already sold out of Level Up magazine, but we should have more copies on Tuesday/Wednesday.

We got Level Up magazine in and sold out. We're hoping to restock it this coming week. It's a very solid 4E D&D magazine. The 3rd Edition counterpart (Kobold Quarterly) is also very good.

The new D&D book, Arcane Power is in! It's got tons of new stuff for Bards, Sorcerers, Swordmages, Warlocks, and Wizards! This is sure to be a hot book based on all the requests that we've had.
We also got in the D&D Hero packs. They are the newly packed D&D minis that come with nothing but player character models. You even get to see which ones you're getting. And on top of all that, each pack come swith an exclusive power card relevant to the classes inside!

D&D Player's Handbook 2 is selling insanely well. We ordered more of this book than we have on any other book's initial order and we're still almost out! Needless to say, this is a popular book. Have no fear, we held a few back just for this weekend's big event.
And, to go with the PHB2 release, we've got the Power Cards. These will help solve all those problems of remembering what each power does or when (and if) you've used them. These are a very handy item for just $9.99.
If that's not enough, we also stocked up our D&D Miniatures!
Star Wars Legacy Era Campaign Guide came in this week. As usual, it's got awesoem artwork and has some very cool bits and pieces in a fun setting to play in.
We also have a cool new book called Ultimate Toolbox. This is a good general book that can be used with EVERY roleplaying system. It has great ideas for character building. It's got great ideas for worldbuilding. It's a solid all-around RPG supplement. If nothing else, you should definitely flip through it and give it a look.
There are a few new White Wolf books this week too! Hunter: Night Stalkers, Nosferatur Clan Book for Vampire, and a restock of the Werwolf Core Book.

This week we got in Dungeon Delve for Dungeons & Dragons. This is a cool book that ha sa bunch of short adventures for players and groups of all levels. We also restocked several of the dungeon tile sets.

Dungeons & Dragons had a couple of highly anticipated releases today. Martial Power is the first item. It is a book full of neat new ways to build the non-magic characters. It's full of new ideas, new weapons, and of course some interesting abilities and the like.
The second book is the Draconomicon. Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. It's a 4th Edition book of everything Dragons!
Star Wars RPG had some interesting additions in our store. First of all, we got a sizeable restock on the old Star Wars RPG and on the new Saga Edition stuff. This includes some previously out of stock/out of print items like Knights of the Old Republic and The Force Unleashed books. The latest Star Wars title to be release is Scum and Villany.
We gave our RPG section a makeover. So several games are better organized and are slowly expanding into a better selection. If you have something you'd like to see added and/or changed, let us know.
We got a large selection of Reaper miniatures added to the fold today as well. So, if you're looking for something for that new character you plan to build, comb through these. There's some good stuff right now.

If you want some 1st or 2nd Edition D&D stuff I'd get in here quick before it gets scooped up. We've got a bunch of it at dirt cheap prices. There are hardcovers, softcovers, adventures, player's options books, even stuff from the complete series.

We now have a very good 4th Edition intro product. It's a starter that comes with a shortened version of the Dungeon Master's Guide and Player's Handbook. It even comes with dice, some map tiles. The work. And it's only $16.99.
We also have another series of Dungeon Tiles for D&D (DU2) Streets of Shadow and there was a new adventure for low level characters, King of the Trollhaunt Warren.
We got a nice influx of Reaper minis this week.
We now have some interesting condition markers and blast templates that work well with D&D. We are sampling these to see what our customers think, so come by and give them a look.

I forgot to mention on the last announcement that we got a LARGE dice restock. If you haven't been by in the past two weeks, you should definitely come check it out.

There were three new books for Dungeons & Dragons this week:
Adventurer's Vault - Arms and Equipment Guide
Scepter Tower of Spellgard - 2nd-4th level adventure
Forgotten Realms Player's Guide
We got in the GM Campaign Record. This is like the character folios for GM's. Speaking of which, we got restocked on the Character Codex as well. The Character Codex is similar to the Green Ronin character folios, but designed for D&D 4th edition.
We will also be participating in the Weekend in the Realms for D&D 4th Edition. These events will run during the last weekend of October. More details will be made available as we get them.
We got a couple of of the Hunter: the Vigil Storyteller's screen in as well.
Star Wars RPG fans will be glad to note that the Force Unleashed Campaign Guide in on the shelf now.
And for those of you that enjoy the Paizo flipmats we got a couple of new ones in today.

We got restocked on the D&D 4th Edition products that we were out of this past week. Namely, the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide.
We are working hard to restock the Knights of the Old Republic. It's out of stock at the manufacturer, but we should have mor ein shortly, so please be patient with us.
Hunter: the Vigil character pads are in, for those of you that are fans of this game.

We reloaded our Paizo flip maps and map tiles. These are amazingly high quality roleplaying tools for a vey low price. They have maps for almost everything your campaign needs. These are definitely worth giving a look to.
Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition introduced two new races: Dragonborn and Tieflings. People are enjoying playing these races, but they are having a hard time finding models to use. Well, have no worries. We have hunted down quite a few different models from Reaper Miniatures that should take care of you nicely.
And there are some new D&D 4th Edition releases out as well. This week, we have the Forgotten REalms core book, the new 4th Edition Dungeon Master's Screen. And a new adventure for characters level 6+ called Pyramid of Shadows. Expect a review of the DM Screen on our Myspace page by the end of the week.
A new Star Wars RPG book, Knights of the Old Republic released this week as well.
And our Shadowrun fans will be glad to hear that we got the new Arsenal book for Shadowrun 4th Edition.
For those of you that have trouble coming up with character backgrounds and history, we have a new book called PC Pearls: A collection of Charcter Inspiration. This is good for getting a character started and helping you design a direction for them to go in.
The Game Closet also now has D&D 4th Edition for Dummies. This is a very good and informative read. It gives you lots of ideas on how to play with the new 4th edition rules and breaks down a lot of the changes from 4rd edition. The last version of this book sold well, so I'd expect the same of this new 4th Edition variant.

We got a restock on Warhammer 40K RPG products. We got a few copies of the core rulebook back in and we also got a couple more copies of the Inquistor's Handbook.
For general RPG products, we got in the full line of flip mats and dungeon tiles from Paizo's GameMastery line. They are moving amazingly fast. These are quite popular among our players.
For D&D games (both 3rd Edition and 4th Edition), check our message forum ASAP. We have games that are likely to start in the next week or two and they are looking for their last couple of players.

There are quite a few fresh items this week in the world of D&D. Everyone has been requested Charcter Record Sheets and we finally got them in.
For those of you looking for more thing to keep your D&D group occupied, there is a new adventure, Thunderspire Labyrinth.
And as if that weren't enough, we also have a new set of Dungeon Tiles for your D&D games. These are themed to go with the latest set of D&D minis. They can be used for all types of D&D campaigns.
Also, for those of you that need generic game mats, we got in more of the large vinyl game mats. And we also have a solid restock on the Paizo dungeon tiles.

If you are roleplaying there are a lot of people looking for players and/or GMs for Dungeons & Dragons, White Wolf games (Werefolf and Vampire), and Warhammer 40K RPG (Dark Heresy). As a matter of fact, in a couple of weeks, we have an open game running for Horus Heresy. Check the message forums for information on these games.
We also got a new map pack set for Caverns from Paizo Publishing through their Game Mastery series.
There was a restock on 4th Edition D&D Core Books.
We also started bolstering up our line of Shadowrun 4th Edition products. We have the 4th Edition cor ebook back in and also have the Arsenal and Augmentation supplements in.

We got a restock on several D&D products including the 4E core rulebooks. We also restocked the D&D Dungeons of Dread minis. We have both starters and booster back in. We even have more D&D dungeon tiles back in.
Speaking of which, Paizo has a cool line of map packs that are compatible with just about every game. They got good reviews from our customers, so we decided to bring the whole line of them in.
We got restock on the battlemats and mat markers and sets.
We also restocked our individual dice, so the selection is much more robust again.

It's finally here. The day you've all been waiting for. This Friday we will have the release of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition. It's a very cool system that anyone that's even remotely interested should give a look to. If you want to prerorder/reserve your copy, hurry on in before it's too late. We've ordered quit ea bit, but there's no telling if we are going to run out or not.
Also, Saturday is Nationwide Dungeons & Dragons Game Day. This is the best time to meet players, get a new game going, or jump into an existing game group. Everyone that participates in a game on Saturday will get some free trinkets (minis, dice, etc.). You'll also get a chance to participate in a very cool trivia contest.
And don't forget about Free RPG Day on June 21st.

Lots of news here. The most important being that we have not one, but TWO new books in for the Warhammer 40K RPG. Purge the Unclean (34.95) and Inquisitors Handbook (44.95). These are hot titles, so you'll need to hurry up if you want a copy.
Also, don't forget that National D&D Game Day is going to be next Saturday (June 7th).
For the White Wolf crowd, we also got a small restock on d10 dice sets along with a new release for Vampire - Kiss of the Succubus.
With 4th Edition releasing soon, we moving all of our 3rd Edition D&D stuff (3 and 3.5) to 45% off. All used books will remain priced as they are, but all new books are 45% off the cover price.
This is the lowest we've ever offered new D&D Product. So come and get those key books you are missing before they are gone. Many of them are already out of print and will no longer be printed once 4th Edition is in the store.

For starters, if you didn't show up last weekend to partake in the D&D 4th edition demo, you really missed out. We had a small group, but fun was had by all and everyone REALLY likes the changes.
4th Edition releases on June 6th and we have a big D&D Game Day in store on June 7th. Stop in the store to preorder your books to make sure you aren't left out when this item hits the streets in a couple of weeks.
We also recently got some more used 1st and 2nd Edition books in on the shelf. Come take a look before they get bought up.

We got some more maps in from the Game Mastery series today. This have been pretty popular. They are reuseable double sided maps that are being done for all types of useful areas. The new release today a cathedral. You really oughtta give this line a look if you haven't before.
Also, we are going to be laying out some 4th edition Dungeons & Dragon promo materials this weekend. If you are free on Sunday, stop in. We are going to try and get a 4th edition demo game off the ground using some pregenerated characters and some of the new 4th Edition D&D rules.

Dungeons & Dragons players, don't forget about 4th Edition. It's right around the corner. It releases the first week of June. We are taking preorders now so that you can have it on release day. It costs you $10 down to preorder any of the individual books and it's $30 to preorder a set of the three (Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual).
Saturday June 7th is also Dungeons & Dragons Game Day all day in store and it's a free event. This is a good way to meet players and play some new and interesting scenarios. You can also get some neat trinkets to take home.
And Saturday June 21st, is free RPG day in store. If you come in and get a demo of any game or play in any campaign that day you will get free dice, modules, and/or whatever else we have to give away.

We will have special scenarios setup so everyone can come and play. It doesn't matter if you are an experienced player or if you're just interested in trying it out. This is the perfect event to come to.

For D&D players, the latest set of Tokkens is out. And no, that’s not misspelled. Tokens are metal “cards” so to speak that represent the Magic items from the D&D core books. Eventually every item will be available on a card.
The cool part about these, is they add a new element to the roleplaying experience. You can now have truly randomized treasure to decide what players will find. You can handle it a lot of different ways. They will hold up to a lot of handling and beatings, because they are made of metal. They serve as solid reminders to the players about what magic items they have. You are no longer having to flip back and forth on your character sheet to find look.
For non-D&D players, the Critical Hit deck is a neat item to have. Instead of dealing extra damage when you roll a critical, you can take a card off the deck and get bonus damage and/or effects for that same action. It’s really a fun and neatly innovative product.
